After 6 years (2015 to 2019) of organising Penang Green Idol (PGI), PGC is bringing back the champions and participants from each year to take part in the Penang Green Idol Tournament (PGIT) 2021 virtually.
With the theme “Take the Lead”, this tournament aims to encourage these young leaders to continue to be role models that will inspire the future generation as well as the key to a more sustainable Penang State.
PGIT’s objectives:
- To reunite all the Penang Green Idols and inspire the young generation’s participation in environmental causes.
- To encourage the youth in active thinking and innovation.
- To provide a platform for youth to speak up their opinions on environmental issues.
- To instill the understanding of youth’s role in ensuring the sustainability of environmental development as well as protection.
