PGC Strategies Sdn. Bhd. [Penang Green Council (PGC)] is a social-profit, governmental organization that nurtures, facilitates and co-ordinates environmental causes in Penang, established by the Penang State Government in the year 2011.

PGC as the central hub harnessing green technology and supporting holistic Green initiatives to achieve sustainable & resilient Penang.

To Enable, Empower, & Enrich stakeholders to practise sustainable development protecting the environment and improving quality of life.

Objectives:

1. To serve as a hub (point of reference) for ingenuity and novel ideas in Penang tackling issues that are concern to the Environment .

2. To focus on research, policy and academic work in the areas of environment, climate change, resilience and sustainable development.

3. To develop tools, ideas & opportunities in harnessing green technology & engagement of people on environment awareness.
